当社がプロデュースしたデザイナーズテナントビル「エコーズ新町」が、このたび世界三大デザインアワードの一つである「iF DESIGN AWARD」をはじめ、アジア最大級のデザインアワード「Golden Pin Design Award」および「Asia Design Prize」において、建築、空間、公共建築などの各部門で受賞いたしましたのでお知らせいたします。

「エコーズ新町」は、「都市型の小型商業施設『Echoes新町』は、新町の文化と経済の中心として、地域の活性化に大きく貢献します。」というコンセプトのもと企画・プロデュースされたプロジェクトです。
本プロジェクトの設計は、一級建築士 朴 玄淳（パク ヒョンスン／Laundry Rice Architects）が担当しています。
朴氏はミラノ工科大学建築学部修士課程修了後、日建設計にて熊本駅ビル「AMU PLAZA熊本」などを手がけ、独立後は熊本空港のカフェ「珈琲回廊」、鹿児島・妙見温泉「雅叙苑」の客室改装、東京都内の木造住宅など幅広いプロジェクトを設計してきました。
現在は東京・港区高輪の歴史ある商店街「メリーロード」沿いに一級建築士事務所 Laundry Rice を構え、活動しています。

Announcement of International Design Awards
We are pleased to announce that “Echoes Shinmachi,” a designers’ tenant building produced by our company, has received multiple international design awards.
The project was honored at iF DESIGN AWARD, one of the world’s three major design awards, as well as Golden Pin Design Award, one of the largest design awards in Asia, and Asia Design Prize, across categories including architecture, spatial design, and public architecture.

Echoes Shinmachi was planned and produced under the concept:
“Echoes Shinmachi, an urban small-scale commercial facility, serves as a cultural and economic hub of the Shinmachi area, contributing significantly to local revitalization.”
The architectural design of this project was led by Hyunsun Park (Licensed Architect, Japan) of Laundry Rice Architects.
After completing a Master’s degree in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano, Mr. Park worked at Nikken Sekkei, where he was involved in major projects including AMU PLAZA Kumamoto, the Kumamoto Station Building.
After establishing his own practice, he has designed a wide range of projects, such as the café “Coffee Gallery” at Kumamoto Airport, guest room renovations at Gajoen Myoken Onsen in Kagoshima, and wooden residential houses in Tokyo.
He is currently based in Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo, where he operates Laundry Rice Architects along the historic shopping street known as “Merry Road.”
